In my pride
I didn't believe
That You would care enough about me
I was too difficult
For even then, I clearly couldn’t see

I was the one who would be hopeless
But I would exhaust Your Love
That I would exhaust your mercy
Surely the God of the universe
Would be frustrated and choose
To no longer invest His time in me

But you have exposed the lies
You have trampled my pride
Like a bug underfoot
No longer can be recognized

This is a glimpse of Glory
This is a ray of Hope
This is a resurrected life that
That had to die when you did, long ago

And so, now I stand speechless
As I stand on vast shores of Your Love
With breezes of freedom upon my face
And with a new heart that overflows

A well spring, no, a fountain
A ceaseless fountain of hope
I found in the only One
Who was able to rescue me
