It's always ok to cry, for any reason. He cares and will remove every tear. Tears of loss and loneliness, rejection and betrayal, fear and doubt. Tell Him what and where it hurts. He's always ready to listen, even to our confusion. Lay your heart on His altar and watch what He will do. I'm doing the same, trusting Him in the pain.
