Sign Your Name

The description of the song

This song is about surrender and covenant. We always start off with good intentions, wanting to do right, to be right, and to give our all to the One who did that for us—the One to whom we owe our lives. But foremost, He wants our heart. He desires a covenant relationship where we mutually belong to each other.

My Story

Wanting to belong, be accepted, and be loved is a basic human desire that God placed in us—one that only He can fill. “Sign Your Name” is about every time I had to learn this truth and surrender to it.

The Lyrics

“Sign Your Name”

Sign your name
Sign your name
On my heart, it’s yours

You paid the price
To call me yours
Purchased with blood
With love that can’t fail

Sign your name
Sign your name
On my heart, it’s yours
For the world to see
That I belong to you
And You live inside of me

You paid the price
To call me yours
Purchased with blood
With love that can’t fail

So, please sign
Sign your name
I turn all I am over to you
I’m yours, paid for in full
Let Your name on my heart
Be the evidence for
All the world to see
That I belong to You and
You belong to me

You paid the price
To call me yours
Purchased with blood
With love that can’t fail
